Your Support Doubles Thanks to a Matching Gift!
Their dilemma is agonizing.
Every day moms and dads across Africa give their children contaminated drinking water. They have no choice. Water is needed to survive. Yet the only water available to them contains bacteria and parasites that can be deadly.
That is why we want to share a wonderful opportunity with you!
Thanks to an amazing matching gift from a longtime friend of Global Aid Network® (GAiN®), your gift today will be matched dollar for dollar — up to $315,000 — to give suffering families access to safe, clean water, and to help save lives!
Through GAiN, the humanitarian partner of Cru®, your generous gift will go twice as far to help repair broken-down wells and drill new ones!
Each new or repaired well will ensure at least 500 people have access to fresh water for years to come! These are people living in some of the toughest places on earth.
God is using community water projects to make Himself known. It is critical to keep this momentum going because every 21 seconds a child dies from water-related illnesses.
Your continued support today, doubled through the matching gift, will go twice as far to save lives by providing:
- Safe, clean water that prevents deadly disease such as typhoid, cholera, and dysentery
- Training, tools, and parts to keep the wells operating for years to come
- More opportunities for our Cru partners to share the eternal hope of Jesus
And you’ll help express the kindness of Jesus by relieving suffering, restoring dignity, and revealing hope.
Please respond now to have your contribution doubled by the matching gift. And together we can serve families who thirst for water, both physical and spiritual.
Clean Water Gives Life
The change is remarkable.
As you walk through a remote village in Tanzania, you see it everywhere. Because of generous people like you, thousands of local residents have access to safe, clean water through a water well drilled by GAiN.
In many developing countries people struggle to find enough water for household use or to properly irrigate their crops.
After the drilling in Tanzania, in-country partners established two churches, one of which established a second-generation church. A few years ago, the village was hostile towards churches, having no interest in Jesus.
But now that has all changed because of the act of kindness expressed through the provision of clean water. People no longer turn to traditional religious customs. The local witch doctor left the village when our partners began sharing about Jesus. His house now sits vacant and in disrepair.
When our team visited recently, the regional pastor shared there were several people who responded to the hope of Jesus. As word spread that the pastor and our team were coming to their village, 60 people came to publicly share their decision to follow Jesus.
Water gives life. But it also opens doors for sharing about Jesus as people learn about the hope and change He brings to thirsty hearts.
