You can help unlock a door to hope in Jamaica

Sharing with ChildrenGlobal Aid Network is partnering with McKinney Christian Academy on a mission trip March 7-13, 2009.

Why go?  Jamaica is a poor country, where many live in poverty and in desperate need of assistance. By helping to meet some of their basic needs, we can have the opportunity to introduce them to Jesus. In Jamaica, Christianity is numerically strong but spiritually weak. Global Aid Network’s outreach to Jamaica offers an economical way for you to participate on a mission trip where you will truly bring tangible help and spiritual hope to people’s lives.

Where we will go?  Montego Bay is the main port on the northwest side of Jamaica where we partner with Faith Chapel. This church is actually in the mountains outside of the city and has a strong ministry to the poor in their area including the nearby neighborhood of Burnt Savannah.

What we will do?

  • Deliver school supplies to children in schools and orphanages
  • Give creative presentations to share our lives and the gospel
  • Conduct a reading clinic for near vision (reading glasses)

Accommodations:  We will be staying at Chatham Cottages one block from the beach in Montego Bay

Come help unlock a door to hope on a mission adventure that will change your life forever!
