Join Global Aid Network in Zimbabwe

Global Aid Network in partnership with a local ministry will be conducting this trip to Zimbabwe, May, 15 - 27, 2009.

Zimbabwe StudentsWhy go?   Zimbabwe is probably most famous for the Victoria Falls, discovered by missionary Dr. David Livingston in 1855.  In recent years Zimbabweans have been suffering immensely because of drought, the HIV/AIDS epidemic and hyperinflation of more than 11.2 million percent.  Unemployment is as high as 80%.  In the midst of such pain God is moving in people’s hearts.

Global Aid Network will serve alongside a local partner ministry who planted 300 new churches in 2004 through an effort known as Project Jericho.

Who can go? This trip is great for those who have a pioneering heart in reaching others for Christ.

Where will we go?  Teams will serve in children'sministry, working with local ministry partners to deliver aid and hope to people in need.  The team will travel into a major city and then out to remote areas. Conditions are rural with very little amenities.
